Yes, a security deposit of €800 at the time of collection (necessary as a guarantee in case of damage etc.) which can be made in cash or by credit card (no prepayment). Deposits by checks, Bancomats, or debit cards will not be accepted. The security deposit by credit card is not a charge, but only a pre-authorization that is carried out to verify the availability of the requested sum. This sum will be refunded upon return of the motorcycle, after ascertaining the absence of defects or damage to the motorcycle, helmet and to all other equipment, if paid in cash, or automatically released after a period of about 20-30 days if withheld by credit card with pre-authorization procedure.
Cancellations more than 21 days from the reservation date will be refunded 50% of the amount paid. No refunds will be issued for cancellations within 21 days of the reservation date.

In the event of an accident (road, theft, fire, vandalism, glass breakage, etc.), the customer must file a notice with Sardegna in Vespa accompanied by the required documentation. In road accidents, the CID must never be missing or the accident report, in any case of accident. Any reports must be presented to the public authority. It is assumed, unless proven otherwise, that what the customer declared in the aforementioned report is true. The customer, according to the law, assumes responsibility for any false declaration. Any report must be sent to Sardegna in Vespa by registered letter with return receipt within 48 hours from the date of the accident. Failure by the customer to submit this documentation within the aforementioned term will relieve Sardegna in Vespa of any liability, making the customer responsible for the insurance companies as well. In the event of an insurance claim, an insurance practice opening cost of € 200.00 + statutory VAT is payable if due.
The basic RC insurance covers the damage caused to third parties by your vehicle. The guarantee provides for a ceiling of €6,070,000 per claim in the event of personal injury and death and a ceiling of €1,220,000 per claim in the event of damage to property. Damage deductible: €800.00 fire and theft deductible: €800.00
All vehicles begin with a full tank of petrol. In the event that the Vespa is not brought with a full tank, a supplement of €15.00 will be charged for the refueling service, in addition to the cost of the missing fuel.

Fines are charged to the customer, to whom they are notified directly, if caused by behavior prohibited by the highway code and / or by current regulations; in addition to this, an additional cost of €20.00 will be charged for the management of the fine by us.

We allow a grace period of up to 30 minutes delay for the return of the Vespa, beyond which an extra rental day will be charged.
